OUR GOALS
We are constantly working to increase the inclusiveness of our Basketball sessions, whether this be physically or financially, to improve the lives, to create more opportunities, and to help create a safe place to have fun and play basketball for all attending.
Our Goals are based around these core objectives:

We have created one 18-month, 30 hours a week government accredited paid apprentice role.
Our apprentice will gain a wide variety of soft and hard skills spanning from coaching and being heavily involved in Haringey's grass root communities to learning valuable business skills and processes for running a non-profit and sporting organisation.
Our goal is to create more accredited apprentice roles for the youth within Haringey B4A.
Apprenticeships

Our goal is to send out our core of apprentices to different local skills to provide free afterschool basketball sessions.
These have a range of benefits from providing more opportunities to be involved in constructive activities to creating a nice balance between school and physical activities.
We will aim to be working with the following schools this academic year (2022 to 2023).
-
Haris Academy
-
Gregg City Academy
-
St Thomas Moore
Working with local schools

We want to encourage more parents to get involved in our Haringey B4A sessions. We do not necessarily need them to coach but to use the skills they already have to support our youth, from social care to helping with CV writing and getting into work.
We further want to encourage our regular basketball attendees to get more involved with basketball coaching and volunteering. Through our Big Time Basketball project, we can help our youths and young adults gain their level 2 basketball qualification.
Increasing volunteers

Having paid roles increases the number of sessions we can run and the growth of Haringey B4A.
We want to pay our coaches and pay business and marketing professionals to aid with the growth of our business and marketing capabilities.
Throughout the year we aim to gain funding, to better support our stuff financially and thus helping to grow Haringey B4A.
Create more paid roles and Gain further funding

We want to be able to offer more indoor court sessions on weekdays.
Indoor court sessions offer the best playing standards, encouraging participation.
Indoor courts further improve participation as they're not affected by weather conditions.
